My Family Declaration
Each quarter, every member declares the relatives they have within the second degree: spouse, parents, children, brothers and sisters, grandparents and grandchildren, and the same by marriage (in-laws). Cousins are not included. This protects you and BUPCC: a director or committee member may not vote on a loan to a close relative or be its co-maker. Only the Credit Desk and the Board Secretary can see it, and it is used for no other purpose. If you have none, say so and tap Save.

Co-maker Requests
A fellow member may ask you to be a co-maker on their loan. A co-maker agrees to be bound with the borrower: if the loan is not paid, BUPCC may recall your Share Capital and apply it to the unpaid dues. You can say no, and nothing happens to the borrower's membership or to yours.

Promissory Notes
When the Credit Committee approves a loan, a Promissory Note is issued. The borrower and both co-makers each sign it here, with a drawn signature and their own Access Code. If you cannot sign digitally, BUPCC Personnel can record your signature on a printed copy.

For work you do for BUPCC that no one has assigned: a visit, a follow-up, helping another member. BUPCC Staff can see it; other members cannot.
My Business/Interest
Tell fellow members what you do or what you are interested in. You may have up to 2 listings. Use of Business/Interest and Community is covered by the Tahanan Terms of Use. Nothing is shown to others unless you switch on "Show me in Community" below, and BUPCC Admin approves your first listing before it is shown.
Not allowed on Tahanan
To keep Tahanan safe and in line with our cooperative values, listings for the following cannot be saved:
- Sexual or adult products and services, such as sex toys, adult content and escort services.
- Weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosives and firecrackers.
- Poisons, pesticides, chemical fertilizers and other products that harm people, animals or the environment.
- Illegal drugs and controlled substances.
- Endangered or protected wildlife, and cruel or destructive practices such as blast or cyanide fishing.
- Gambling, unlicensed lending and get-rich-quick or investment offers. These are reviewed by BUPCC Admin and are normally declined.
Your first listing is approved by BUPCC Admin. After that, ordinary edits go live right away. A new picture, or wording that needs a closer look, is checked first.
Links (all optional). Paste the web address of your page or channel. Videos are shown as links only, so please post them on YouTube, Facebook or TikTok first.
A4 size, landscape or portrait. It is shrunk automatically to a small WebP file (about 1600 pixels on the long side) so it loads fast on phones. Only JPG, PNG or WebP pictures under 1.5 MB are accepted. Harmful, misleading or inappropriate uploads or links will be taken down by BUPCC Admin and may lead to suspension of your Tahanan account.
